	Dr. Flavio Salazar, President of ALAI WELCOME TO IMMUNOCHILE2009 Two years have passed since the successful World Congress of Immunology held in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. On that occasion, given the huge boost that the event gave to immunology in Latin America, we decided to anticipate the IX Latin American Congress of Immunology from 2010 to 2009, re-placing it a year before the next World Congress that will be held in Kobe, Japan in 2010.
	Important information about the Congress Registration The organizers inform that everyone is welcome to participate in the Congress. An identification card will be required for accessing to conference rooms, so participants that plan to stay only for a single day need to pay a registration fee of $ 95.000/day (CLP, Chilean currency) to get the admittance card.
	Poster Presentations Poster presenters should refer to the list of poster presentations in the final program for their board numbers. Poster presenters are requested to be present at their designed poster board(s) during poster sessions to answer questions per the attended poster viewing schedule indicated below. More information
	Scholarship The Scientific Committee has evaluated abstracts for scholarship. The award includes registration fee and accommodation from November 3rd to 7th (4 nights). See list of awardees at www.immunochile2009.com
	Fellow Travel Awards The National Societies in every member country has evaluated abstracts for scholarship. These works are selected for oral presentation. The award includes payment of registration fee, accommodation during the congress, and covering of travel expenses. More information at www.immunochile2009.com
